$10,225
delivered this week by truck 208, a dry van · 5 loads
Every load below is real, with the time it delivered and the day it was paid out.
The week, load by load
Every load this truck has delivered, is hauling now, or has booked this week. None left out. Each one shows the broker, the miles (loaded and empty) and what the load paid.
Every mile, loaded and empty
Deadhead miles are the empty miles driven to the next pickup. They are part of the job, so we count them.
2,349
loaded miles
419
deadhead miles (15% of the week)
2,768
miles in all
$3.69
per mile, counting all miles ($4.35 per loaded mile)
Where the money went
The full math, from the real settlements. The owner-operator keeps 82% of every load. Fuel the driver bought on the fuel card and the weekly charges come off. The rest is sent to the owner-operator.
Paid out Tuesday, October 13
Why this payout is smaller: it is the first one of the week, so the weekly charges come off here. They come off once a week, not on every load. The ELD deposit is taken only in the first 10 weeks and is returned if we ever part ways. It is not escrow.
Paid out Wednesday, October 14

The week so far, added up
Fuel is already taken out of these numbers. The driver fuels with the ARI fuel card at our discount, and those purchases come off the payout. What is sent is what is left after fuel. Nothing is held in escrow.
When a load is paid: deliver before 12:00 PM Eastern on a business day (Monday to Friday, not a bank holiday) and the load is paid out the same day. Deliver in the afternoon, on a weekend or on a holiday and it is paid out the next business day. How: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, ACH or wire - ACH carries a $5 fee and a wire $30.
Common questions
Are these real numbers?
Yes. These are the loads, miles and settlements of one ARI truck, taken from our dispatch and settlement records and refreshed through the day. Loads, lanes and results are different for every truck and every week.
When does an owner-operator get paid for a load?
A load delivered before 12:00 PM Eastern on a business day (Monday to Friday, not a bank holiday) is paid out that same day. A load delivered in the afternoon, on a weekend or on a holiday is paid out the next business day.
How is the money sent?
By Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, ACH or wire. ACH carries a $5 fee and a wire $30.
What comes out of a load?
The owner-operator keeps 82% of every load and ARI keeps 18%. Fuel the driver buys on the ARI fuel card comes off the settlement of that load. The weekly charges (insurance, plates, ELD) come off once a week, on the first payout of the week. Every charge is on our published list. Nothing is held in escrow.
When does the fuel card work?
The card is off while you drive to the pickup. That first stretch is on your own fuel. It turns on once you are loaded and you send us a photo of the bill of lading in the app. It turns off when you deliver, and stays off until you are loaded with your next load. The reason: we pay you the same day you deliver, so every load has to be settled down to zero when it is paid.
How much fuel can I put on the card?
Up to 40% of your share of the load you are hauling. Example: on a $2,000 load your share is $1,640, so up to $656 is there for fuel as soon as you are loaded. You only pay for what you pump. If you put in $400 of fuel, $400 comes off that load, not $656. The card is for fuel and DEF, and it saves up to 45 cents a gallon at more than 2,000 truck stops. It is not for cash advances.
Are the empty miles shown too?
Yes. Every load shows its loaded miles and its deadhead (empty) miles, and the week's totals count both.
What do I need to lease on with ARI?
A CDL and a sleeper truck, year 2000 or newer. Your own trailer, or we help you get one. The application takes a few minutes on a phone.
How it works at ARI
You own the truck. We bring the loads, the paperwork and the pay.
You keep 82%
Of every load. Our 18% covers dispatch, compliance, billing and getting you paid fast.
Paid per load
Deliver before noon Eastern on a business day and the load is paid out the same day. Deliver in the afternoon or on a weekend and it is paid out the next business day. No waiting weeks for a broker to pay.
No escrow
Other carriers hold thousands of your money. We hold none of it.
No forced dispatch
A real dispatcher finds the loads and negotiates the rates. You decide which loads you take and when you go home.
Every charge in writing
Insurance, plates and ELD are weekly charges, and every one is on our published list. See every charge.
